Web Hosting - Choosing Affordable Quality Services

Some cheap web hosting claims that they provide attractive services such as ‘unlimited bandwidth’. However, it is not true. Bandwidth is the data that is exchanged between host services and the clients. If your host is operating profitably, it is not going to be unlimited ever.

Lack of Good Domain Names?

Kelvin Chan has been an active internet marketer since early 2000 and has since built different sites with different niches. He is also an active currency trader/coach and loves to inspire others. Good news is … somewhere along the lines, I’ve already gotten rid of that belief. Fact is there are still plenty of good (if not excellent) domain names that are waiting for you to be registered for either your own new website’s purposes and even for speculation.

Another "need a good host" post!

Okay, so I’ve NEVER hosted my own website before and don’t really have an idea what I’m doing.

The website is personal website, it will also host my blog and a few random sites.

Things I would like:
At least 10 GB space.
I don’t know how much bandwidth.
I need it to be able to host wordpress blogs.
I need subdomains, and would like it to allow 2 domains on the plan.

Other than that, I have no idea what is going on. I would like around $5 a month since I don’t need much and I’m a poor college student.

I was looking at InMotion’s $5 plan.

Kicked off my old host, looking for suggestions…

Ok, so, I had an account on Vexxhost.com’s shared hosting. I had given my friend some space on my site for his forum. He got DDoSed. So now Vexxhost has suspended my account, claiming that they want me to move to another host. This is absolute bull. In their TOS and AUP they mention nothing of the sort. On their why us page, they say they have a system to stop DDoS atacks. I believe that to be an absolute LIE.

Anyways, enough of my ranting - What I’m looking for is, a shared cPanel host. The plan on Vexxhost I had was 2.55$ a month for 1tb space and 10tb bandwidth, and a free domain as long as I kept the account active. I’d like something similar to that… Edit: Preferable unlimited MySQL databases, but, at least 10 is ok.

Thanks!
